Grazyna Szymanska

Soft Tissue Therapist

I was born in Poland and studied Economics there, following which I worked for the stock exchange.  However, it really wasn’t for me, so when I moved to England, I completed a course in Holistic Massage (BTEC level 4) in 2011 and the year after Sports Massage (BTEC Level 5). I worked in Birmingham and then for the last many years, in Sheffield.

To further my knowledge into different approaches to massage, I also studied in Thailand.  I have since trained as a Structural Integration Therapist (completed 645 hrs of training for this), Myofascial Release, Scar Work and Kinesiotaping.

Completing all these courses helped me to better understand posture and body mechanics,  finding effective ways to restore balance within it.  I treat a variety of clients.  Some come to ease chronic pain and stress, others are hoping to improve their athletic performance,  and others are interested in exploring their body awareness and vitality. Every treatment is different because it is tailored to your individual needs.

I start every session accessing body posture to create the best outcome of the treatment possible. The treatment may include some movement or exercises on the table or in sitting. You may be asked to walk, bend, rotate, stretch etc For this reason I encourage my client to  wear comfortable underwear.

If you are looking to move with grace, breath with ease, and to find relief from pain and discomfort along the way I believe the  treatments may be for you.
