Coronavirus - Update

23 March 2020 - latest advice

To all our patients it is with great sadness that as of Monday 23rd March we have decided to temporarily close our clinic doors in an attempt to help beat the Coronavirus spreading further.

We are hoping to re-open as soon as it is considered safe to do so. However, we want to continue to support you wherever possible so please feel free to contact us via the contact form here if you have any questions. In the meantime, please aim to follow any advice that your practitioner has given you such as exercises, postural advice and mobility/ lifestyle advice to help keep your joints and muscles as healthy as possible whilst in isolation / partaking in the social distancing measures.

We hope to update this site over the next few weeks with hints/ tips/ exercises that you can use whilst you are self-isolating/ engaging in social distancing.

We have already contacted many of you to reschedule your appointments but there are many more we have yet to follow up on. As we are sure you are all aware, this is a rapidly changing situation so it may also be necessary to rearrange appointments past that date.

Look after yourselves, your loved ones and keep an eye out for those around you.

We all need to take reasonable action to prevent the spread of the Corona virus – and to protect those most at risk of serious complications.

If you have any symptoms such as:

  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Shortness of breath
  • Flu like symptoms

Please contact us to reschedule your appointment and follow government advice:

https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response

If you are in a higher risk group for complications of the virus, ie an “older person with underlying health conditions e.g. cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, diabetes or suffering from cancer” – again please consider contacting us to reschedule your appointment.

Finally, getting good sleep, reducing stress, eating well and taking Vit C and D will help your immune system.
